Down on the farm
The new farm store in the farmyard is open every day from 9 am until 6pm.  We've got bags of potatoes for sale, our full range of flours, special offers on eggs and lots of veg from the farm.  You can also order pork including bacon, sausages and chops - just leave us a message in the message book or call us on 01728 65200.  If no one is around (out feeding pigs, or milling grain) all our contact details are in the shop. What's New
Please come and visit us on Friday 30th September for a leisurely farm walk followed by a tasty lunch at The Bell, Saxmundham.  We are meeting at Maple Farm at 10.45 for tea and coffee followed by the guided tour.  The tour is free, lunch is £14 per head.  To book please call us on 01728 65200 or email us on info@maplefarmkelsale.co.uk.  The tour is a chance to see the mill in action, meet our Middle White pigs, learn about some of our unusual crops including buckwheat (which is about to be added to our range of flours) and see our integrated rotation system in action.  THis is one of many interesting Fringe Events taking place as part of the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival, www.aldeburghfoodanddrink.co.uk.

Goodness Me
We were thrilled and amazed when news came through that we'd been nominated for Local Food Farmer of the Year in the 2011 Farmers Weekly Awards.  Thank you for all your support.  The nomination, against two others in the category, talks about our "added value and range of complementary enterprises ensuring that 95% of the home-milled cereals, vegetables, pigs and turkeys are sold locally or direct off the farm".  It's wonderful to be recognised in this way by the most prestigious farming award scheme in the country. In the news
