Down on the farm
The farm store in the farmyard is open every day from 9 am until 6pm.  We've got bags of potatoes for sale, our full range of flours, special offers on eggs and lots of veg from the farm.  You can also order pork including bacon, sausages and chops - just leave us a message in the message book or call us on 01728 65200.  If no one is around (out feeding pigs, or milling grain) all our contact details are in the shop. What's New
We've been struggling to provide a good continuous supply of veg to all our farmshop customers this year.  The wet weather in early summer hit us hard, our clay soil isn't ideal in the wet.  So we've decided to reduce our production and concentrate on veg just for our own farm store.  We'll continue to provide even more eggs and flour to the wonderful local shops that support us.  But our organic veg will only be available from the farm store right here at Maple Farm Kelsale.  Thank you so much to all our customers and farmshop customers who have supported us through thick and thin. There are some wonderful autumn vegetables including butternut squashes coming on. Please come and visit. MORE...

Tree Planting Weekends - Come and Join us!

Weekends 14th - 15th Feb and 28th Feb - 01 March 2015

The Woodland Trust has identified our farm as an ideal site to conduct a field scale experiment in Agroforestry and are supplying us with 700 young trees to plant in this exciting development.  Agroforestry is where arable farming and commercial forestry are combined on the same land.  The trees will improve fertility and drainage in our arable fields as well as provide shade for our livestock and an enhanced environment for wildlife.

Come and join us for a few hours to plant some trees whilst getting some moderate exercise and fresh air.  Accompanied children are welcome. Bring a friend!

The work is planned for over the weekends of 14th/15th Feb and 28th/01 March (weather permitting).  Please email for further information.

Equipment and refreshments provided.

You will need to ensure that you wear suitable clothing such as wellies and gloves and be prepared to get a bit muddy!  We would enjoy your company and be extremely grateful.
