Thanks to everyone who came to visit us at the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival. We really enjoyed seeing so many loyal customers and were grateful for the feedback. It was good to meet new people as well and see how much interest there is in local organic food. We sold a lot of kale thanks to Rose Prince's recipe demonstration and lots of loose spelt for use like pearl barley or risotto rice - 1 kilo bags now available from the farm.
Many thanks too to everyone who came on our farm walk. Hope you enjoyed the goody bags and are now converted to Maple Farm eggs forever!
Farmers’ markets
On the sunniest summer Saturdays or coldest winter mornings(complete with fingerless mittens),you’ll find members of the Maple Farm Kelsale team, serving up delicious organic goodies at a good clutch of farmers’ markets in our 15 mile radius. We get out and about even more on the run up to Christmas, and throughout the other seasons we’re in our element, up with the lark (or pheasants)and out early with our veg.
We do our best to ensure that our team involved in running our stalls at the variety of farmers markets have hands-on involvement in producing and harvesting our produce. They understand what they are selling and why it is special, and can offer explanation and advice where required.
